Eden Gold

Please VOTE for Randy Gold!  Click HERE to cast your vote!

In 2008 my friends Caroline and Randy Gold gave birth to their second child, a beautiful baby girl named Eden.  It was heartbreaking to learn that Eden was diagnosed with ML4, a progressive and debilitating neurological disorder that could have been prevented.  The Golds could have simply been angry or lost faith.  They never once asked, “Why me?”  Instead, they turned their tragedy into a life-saving organization that helps educate Rabbis, doctors and Jewish couples on ALL of the Jewish genetic diseases, and the need to be screened.  They founded Jewish Gene Screen, have rallied the Atlanta Jewish Community and plan to take their program national later this year.  The love that Randy and Caroline show Eden, Natanel and the entire Jewish community makes them my Jewish Heroes.
